Line drawing of three tall, narrow vases with curved shapes and slender necks.

is inspired by the rhythm of coastal living, the beauty of slow, intentional rituals, and a lifelong love of the natural world. As a conservation and wildlife scientist, I am endlessly inspired by the earth’s processes, from clay and minerals to texture, form, and fire. I see pottery as both art and natural science, a hands-on way to stay curious, keep learning, and connect more deeply with the materials and processes around us.

Each piece is handmade with care and designed to elevate everyday moments, bringing a sense of alignment, warmth, and intention into your space and day to day life.

“Emmy Lou”

I am a wildlife & conservation scientist, artist and lifetime learner driven by a deep commitment to protecting the planet. I work primarily with large animal conservation efforts with a nonprofit called In Case of Anesthesia. I find a lot of my inspiration for the processes of nature through my work in science. In the face of a challenging moment in the world of conservation science, I turned inward choosing to find an outlet to rest, digest, and create.

My brand is named after to my childhood nickname, “Emmy Lou”. My childhood is a large piece of my heart, reminding me to stay creative and connected to nature.

Ceramics…

serves my inherent need to move, refine and work with my hands - allowing me to translate emotion and internal states into tangible form. It is a way to let nature whisper through me and connect me with nature and community.
