Emmy Lou Pottery Kids Summer Camp is a small-group, hands-on pottery experience for children ages 7–10 in Sorrento Valley, San Diego. Each week-long session introduces kids to handbuilding, wheel throwing, glazing, and creative studio time in a safe, supportive environment. With a maximum of five children per session, campers receive individualized instruction while creating one or more finished ceramic pieces to take home after firing.

Camp runs Monday through Friday with morning and afternoon session options available on select weeks. No prior pottery experience is needed.

Located at Emma’s private studio at 3421 Tripp Ct Suite 2, San Diego CA 92121.

Perfect for birthdays, small gatherings, team events, or special celebrations, each session is designed to feel warm, relaxed, and approachable for all experience levels. Over 2.5 hours, you’ll learn foundational pottery techniques, receive personalized guidance, and create your own ceramic piece to be glazed, fired, and picked up at a later date. Priced at $120

A date night wheel throwing experience designed for all levels. This guided session offers a relaxed introduction to the pottery wheel, where you and your partner can learn foundational techniques while creating side by side. With a focus on process over perfection, it’s a space to slow down, connect, and enjoy the act of creating together. This is a 2.5 hour course priced at $120.

This one-on-one 1 x a week, 4 week program offers a calm, guided introduction to the pottery wheel, where you’ll learn foundational techniques while being encouraged to explore at your own pace. With a focus on process over perfection, this class creates space to slow down, stay present, and enjoy the act of creating. Priced at $400.

Guided with care and intention, this session introduces the fundamentals of the pottery wheel while creating space for individual exploration within a shared environment. Centered on process over perfection, it’s an opportunity to slow down, stay present, and create together. This is a 4-week course with meetings 1x a week. Priced at $240 per person with a capacity of 4 people.
