Emmy Lou Pottery Kids Summer Camp is a small-group, hands-on pottery experience for children ages 7–10 in Sorrento Valley, San Diego. Each week-long session introduces kids to handbuilding, wheel throwing, glazing, and creative studio time in a safe, supportive environment. With a maximum of five children per session, campers receive individualized instruction while creating one or more finished ceramic pieces to take home after firing.
Camp runs Monday through Friday with morning and afternoon session options available on select weeks. No prior pottery experience is needed.

This guided session offers a relaxed introduction to the pottery wheel, where you and your partner can learn foundational techniques while creating side by side. With a focus on process over perfection, it’s a space to slow down, connect, and enjoy the act of creating together. This is a 2.5 hour course priced at $120.

This one-on-one 1 x a week, 4 week program offers a calm, guided introduction to the pottery wheel, where you’ll learn foundational techniques while being encouraged to explore at your own pace. Emmy Lou Pottery Summer Camp is a small-group, hands-on creative experience designed for children ages 7–10.
